On Feb. 25, Elements Casino participated in the annual Coldest Night of the Year Fundraiser. This event raised money for the over 100 communities across Canada. Our Elements team members bundled up and walked to raise awareness for an important cause.

Great American Casino Lakewood took part at the Chili Cook off Event at Lakewood Chamber where the community came together to raise funds for local scholarship programs.

Casino New Brunswick team members got together to walk The Coldest Night of the Year in Moncton, NB to raise money for the homeless youth within the community. The Proud Pipers raised $2,820 themselves.

The entire fundraiser raised over $70,000. Over the course of the next 12 months the funds will go towards assisting nearly 500 at-risk and homeless youth.

Casino New Brunswick had an autographed guitar fundraiser the night of the Colin James Concert. The guitar sold for $1225 with all proceeds going to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation.  A lucky guest walked away with a Colin James autographed guitar at the end of the show!

Elements Casino is honored to support the Surrey Food Bank with a $1,000 donation during the 2016 Surrey Santa Parade.

On December 13th, team members from Chances Chilliwack volunteered to make over 600 gift bags for Christmas. The gift bags were delivered to local schools.

Chances Dawson Creek participated in this year’s PROUD National Week of Caring by holding a bake sale for guests and team members in support of the Terry Fox Foundation. In total, over $700 was raised – not bad considering the bake sale was their plan B after they were forced to cancel their car wash due to poor weather!

Chances Maple Ridge was PROUD to donate $1,000 to The Family Education and Support Centre for the work they do to help families and individuals who are seeking support in the community. The Family Education and Support Centre offers a wide range of services including parenting, parent and child programming, mental health services, personal growth, diversity education, food security or community kitchens, and much more.
