GREAT CANADIAN GAMING EXTENDS OPERATING AGREEMENT FOR HASTINGS RACECOURSE WITH CITY OF VANCOUVER

October 24, 2014 – Richmond, BC – Great Canadian Gaming Corporation [TSX: GC] (“Great Canadian” or “the Company”) announced today that it has reached an agreement for a 2 year extension to the operating agreement for its Hastings Racecourse property located on the Pacific National Exhibition grounds in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Hastings Racecourse General Manager, Darren MacDonald stated, “This extension of our operating agreement enables us to continue to offer our guests at Hastings Racecourse live and simulcast racing as well as an exciting gaming experience. This extension allows us to continue working with industry stakeholders towards a long-term, sustainable horse racing program at Hastings.”

Hastings Racecourse has been operating at its current location for over 125 years and features exciting live thoroughbred racing May through October, simulcast racing, numerous food and beverage options, slot machines, and free admission.

The extension will be effective to November 2016. The current operating agreement was due to expire in November 2014.

Bif Naked and Everlast to Perform at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver’s One-Year Anniversary Celebration

COQUITLAM, BC (October 7, 2014) – Hard Rock Casino Vancouver will be celebrating its first anniversary on Saturday, December 20, 2014 and to mark the occasion, Bif Naked will be performing with her band while Everlast will bring his special acoustic show to the stage in this exclusive concert event.

It was in 1996 when Bif released her self-titled album followed two years later by the platinum selling I Bificus and the Juno Award-nominated Purge in 2001. Her hits include “I Love Myself Today”, a reimaging of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” and “Spaceman” which reached #1 on the national charts and #2 on Billboard’s international charts and remains the highest-spun independent song in Canadian history. Bif’s 2009 album, The Promise was written and recorded while she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She has since become a motivational speaker inspiring others as she shares the story of her courageous battle. Last year after speaking at the University of the Fraser Valley, she was awarded an honorary doctorate.

When Everlast co-founded House of Pain with Danny Boy and DJ Lethal in 1991, the group’s frontman defied the stereotypes about white rappers with the release of their eponymous debut album. The multi- platinum selling album featured the hit single, “Jump Around”. After the group disbanded, Everlast pursued a solo career and released Whitey Ford Sings the Blues in 1998. The album produced the hit singles, “What It’s Like” and “Ends”. The following year, he won a Grammy Award for his collaboration with Carlos Santana on “Put Your Lights On”.

Great Canadian Gaming Announces The 10-Year Extension Of Its Casino Operating Contract For Fraser Downs Racetrack And Casino In Surrey, British Columbia

September 4, 2014 – Richmond, BC – Great Canadian Gaming Corporation [TSX: GC] (“Great Canadian” or “the Company”) announced today that it has exercised its renewal option with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (“BCLC”) to extend the term of the Casino Operational Services Agreement (“COSA”) under which the Company operates the Fraser Downs Racetrack and Casino in Surrey, British Columbia (“Fraser Downs”). Under the terms of the contract extension, the Company will have an additional 10 years of term certainty as the casino operator of Fraser Downs to March 31, 2024 and has committed to complete market research that will determine the scope of a property redevelopment or renovation for 2015.

Moist’s National Tour Includes Date At Hard Rock Casino Vancouver

COQUITLAM, BC (August 20, 2014) – The Juno Award-winning band, Moist will be hitting the road with their just announced Canadian tour which wraps up at the Hard Rock Casino Vancouver on Thursday, December 4, 2014.

It was in 1994 when the Vancouver-based rockers released their debut Multi-Platinum album, Silver which spawned their first hit single, “Push”. They followed up two years later with their second Multi-Platinum album, Creature which featured such chart-toppers as “Leave It Alone”, “Resurrection”, “Tangerine” and “Gasoline”.
