Shorelines Casino Peterborough Walks a Mile in Her Shoes
Team members from Shorelines Casino Peterborough participated in Walk A Mile in Her Shoes, a playful opportunity to help raise awareness about the serious causes, effects and remediations to violence against women. The campaign asks men to literally walk a mile in women’s high-heeled shoes and then encourages people to start talking about these difficult issues.
Shorelines Casino Peterborough raised over $1,200 at this event, which went to benefit the YMCA. These funds will provide 19 safe nights for women and children.
