Clarification to Q1 Conference Call Q&A

Following the Q1 results conference call, certain questions were asked regarding the Ontario Lottery and Gaming (“OLG”) modernization process with respect to the award of the Greater Toronto Area Gaming Bundle (the “GTA Gaming Bundle”). The answer provided on the conference call should be considered together with the clarification provided herein. The bidding process for the GTA Bundle was a competitive process and made pursuant to a comprehensive exercise articulated by OLG. Although unknown to Great Canadian, we understand that there were numerous parties participating in the process. Prospective proponents of the GTA Bundle were reviewed by OLG pursuant to their evaluation criteria and the results of the evaluation of any other proponents by OLG, or relative evaluations to our bid, are unknown to Great Canadian. The award of the GTA Bundle to Great Canadian’s affiliate does speak to the strength of the bid we submitted and the assumption that our bid was superior to that of other proponents.
